CHALLENGE
Create impactful imagery and tactful editorial content for a unique kit release.
For the first time in league history, an MLS club teamed up with a fashion designer to create one of their kits. Here, we faced the challenge of communicating the designer’s innovative choices and creating enthusiasm for a kit that ventured well outside what fans were accustomed to.
OUTCOME
We used graphic design and honest storytelling to “humanize” the jersey.
In the same way our player interviews reveal the character behind each athlete, this project did the same for the kit. This deep dive into the Red Bulls’ most experimental jersey to date led to a greater appreciation for it from club supporters and a broad soccer audience.
